To help the ILO and its constituents better understand the impact of the global financial crisis in Cambodia, the Cambodian Institute of Development Studies conducted a rapid assessment of the country’s most vulnerable sectors, including the garment, construction, and tourism industries. This rapid assessment has helped the ILO, the Cambodian government and the ILO’s other social partners understand the likely impact of the crisis on the economy and the labour market, and has formed the basis of recommendations on policy responses. |
